How to Pay Cashify Using GCash in Philippines
Quick answer: Open the repayment screen in the Cashify app and use only the payment method and reference it shows. If GCash is offered, follow the on-screen instructions exactly, then keep the receipt and check that the app shows the payment. Never send money to a personal number given by someone else.
Repayment methods listed in the app
The store listings are clear about how money is paid out: your loan can be sent to a bank account, GCash or Coins.ph. They do not publish a list of repayment channels, so the options available to you are the ones displayed in the repayment screen of the app. These can change with updates, which is why we avoid listing menu names we cannot verify.

Step-by-step GCash payment
Use these steps as a safe general guide, and follow the exact details shown in the Cashify app:
- Open the Cashify app and go to your active loan or repayment screen.
- Check the amount due. Note the installment, the due date and any outstanding balance.
- Choose a payment method. If GCash or another e-wallet or bank option is shown, select it.
- Copy the details exactly. The app may display a reference number, a payment code or a biller name. Use it exactly as shown.
- Open GCash and follow the payment path that matches what the app tells you. Enter the amount and the reference.
- Confirm the details before you send, checking the name of the recipient and the amount.
- Save the receipt. Take a screenshot of the GCash confirmation, including the reference number and date.
- Return to the app and check that the payment is recorded.
If the app does not mention GCash, do not look for a workaround. Use the method it provides.
After paying: confirmation and proof
Payments can take some time to appear in the app. Wait a short time, then check again. Keep:
- the GCash receipt,
- a screenshot of the repayment screen before and after, and
- the time and date of each payment.
If your loan is fully paid, also take a screenshot showing the balance as zero. These records matter if there is ever a dispute. See Cashify payment penalty for what can happen if a payment is late.
Common payment problems
| Problem | What to do |
|---|---|
| Payment not showing in the app | Wait a short time, refresh, then contact support with your receipt |
| Wrong reference number entered | Contact support right away with the receipt and the correct loan details |
| Paid the wrong amount | Check the schedule and ask support how it will be applied |
| App shows overdue despite payment | Send the receipt and ask for a correction in writing |
| Unable to pay by the due date | Contact support before the date; see Cashify overdue |
Scam warning: only pay through official channels
Scammers sometimes pretend to be collectors and ask you to send money to a personal GCash number, often with urgent language. Protect yourself:
- Pay only through the channels shown inside the official app.
- Do not pay to a personal number, even if the sender knows your name or amount.
- Do not share your MPIN, OTP or password with anyone.
- Be careful with links sent by chat or text. Open the app yourself instead.
- If you are unsure, contact support using the channels in the store listing.

Plan your payments
A little planning helps you avoid late payments:
- Put every due date in your phone calendar.
- Pay a day or two early to allow for delays.
- Make sure your GCash balance covers the amount plus any fee GCash may charge.
- Keep your phone charged and your connection stable on the due date.
If your pay schedule does not fit the due date, you can compare the repayment schedule with your income at the time you take the loan; see Cashify loan terms.
What if you cannot pay in full?
If you cannot pay the full amount, contact support before the due date and ask what options exist in writing. The published listings do not describe a formal restructuring program, so we cannot promise one. Do not borrow from another app to pay this one without calculating the total cost, and read our guide on how to compare online loan costs if you are considering that.
Keeping a payment log
A simple log makes disputes easy to resolve. For each payment, write down the date, the amount, the reference number and the payment method, and attach the receipt screenshot. After your final payment, add the screenshot showing a zero balance. If a reminder later says you still owe money, send these records to support and ask for a written correction. Store the files in a folder that is backed up, so that you do not lose them if you change phones.
Fees and timing to keep in mind
E-wallets and banks may apply their own transaction rules, such as cut-off times or limits, and some channels can take time before a payment is posted. Pay a day or two before the due date, and check that the amount you send matches the amount due. If the app shows an installment that includes a fee, pay the full figure shown rather than guessing. If anything looks different from what you expected, ask support to explain in writing before you pay.
