Cashify Reloan: How Repeat Loans Work
Quick answer: A reloan means borrowing again after you have repaid a previous loan. Cashify has not published detailed reloan rules, so the amount, fees and terms of a repeat loan are shown in the app at the time you apply. Check the total cost again each time instead of assuming it matches your first loan.
What "reloan" means
Reloan simply means taking a new loan from the same lender after the earlier one is settled. For a borrower it is not a separate product but a new application with a new agreement. The listings for Cashify describe a general process of applying, evaluation and payout; they do not describe a special reloan program, so the best source for current options is the app itself.
If you are still choosing a lender, our Cashify review page compares it with other apps.
Typical flow after full repayment
Based on how online lenders commonly operate, and on the published Cashify process, a repeat loan usually looks like this:
- Repay your current loan in full and keep the receipt.
- Open the app and check whether a new loan option is shown.
- Review the new offer: amount, term, fees and due dates.
- Accept or decline. There is no obligation to borrow again.
- Receive the money in the account you choose.
Whether the app shows a new offer straight away, after a delay, or not at all is decided by the lender. We have not found a published rule.
What may differ the second time
A repeat loan can look different from a first one. Possible differences include:
- The amount. The new offer may be higher, the same or lower than before. The published range is ₱1,000 to ₱50,000; see Cashify First Loan Amount.
- The fees. The service fee is listed as a range from 0% to 16% on Google Play, so your fee may change.
- The term. The listings state 91 to 180 days.
- The process. Some steps may be shorter if your details are already on file.
These are possibilities, not promises. Read each offer as if it were your first.
Smart repeat-borrowing habits
- Do not borrow just because you are offered. An offer is not a reason to take on debt.
- Wait a little. Check that your budget has recovered from the last loan.
- Compare costs each time. Interest and fees may differ, so calculate the total repayment again.
- Do not take a new loan to repay an old one without calculating the total cost.
- Keep your records. Save receipts of full repayment for each loan.
Cost check before you reloan
Before you accept any new offer, repeat the same checks you would make for a first loan: the principal, the sign fee, the service fee, the interest, the total repayment and the due dates. The interest rate guide and the loan calculator guide show how to do the math. Compare it with other lenders on our comparison page, and make sure each one is recorded with the SEC.
Reloan and your credit record
Repaying on time keeps your account in good standing. If you want to know whether the lender reports to the credit bureau, see Does Cashify Report to CIC?. Whatever the answer, the best habit is to repay by the due date every time.
What to do if the app does not show a reloan option
If you do not see a new loan offer after repaying, do not assume something is wrong. You can wait and check again later, contact support through the official channels, and avoid sending money to anyone who promises to "unlock" a reloan. Lenders do not charge outside agents for this. For safe contact options, see Cashify customer care.
Related questions: credit limit
If your main question is whether your maximum amount can go up, read Does Cashify Increase Credit Limit?. The two topics are connected, but they are different: reloan is about borrowing again, while a credit limit is about how much you may be offered.
Questions to ask yourself before borrowing again
A repeat loan is a decision, not an automatic step. Before you tap accept, ask:
- Did my last loan fit comfortably in my budget, or did I struggle to pay?
- Is this new need urgent, or can it wait until I have saved more?
- Is there a cheaper way to cover it, such as using savings or asking for a salary advance?
- Do I know the total repayment and every due date?
- Am I borrowing from other apps at the same time?
If the answers show that the last loan was hard to manage, take a break before you borrow again. Repeated short-term loans can build up quickly, and each one adds fees.
Keeping proof of full repayment
When you finish repaying, save the final receipt and a screenshot of the zero balance in the app. If a later reminder says you still owe money, these records are the fastest way to resolve the mistake with support. They are also useful if you ever need to make a complaint. Keep them for as long as the lender or the law may require you to prove the loan was settled, and store them somewhere safe such as a folder in your email or cloud storage.
When another lender may suit you better
If your reloan offer is too small or too costly, compare other lenders recorded with the SEC rather than accepting the first offer. A broader comparison can show differences in total cost, term and fees that are easy to miss when you look at only one app. Use the same four figures for every lender, and stay with a lender whose terms you understand.
