Cashify Loan Calculator: Estimate Your Repayment

By Cashify Editorial Team · Published

Quick answer: There is no official Cashify calculator that we can verify, but you can estimate repayment from the published sample: principal plus interest (rate ÷ 365 × days) plus a service fee. In the lender's own example, ₱10,000 over 91 days costs about ₱11,299.17 in total, or about ₱3,766.39 a month.

The formula in plain words

The sample loan in the store listing uses three parts:

  1. Interest = principal × annual interest rate ÷ 365 × number of days.
  2. Service fee = principal × service fee percentage.
  3. Total repayment = principal + interest + service fee.

To get the monthly installment, divide the total repayment by the number of installments. This is the method shown in the lender's example. Your own loan agreement may use different fees or rates, so treat any calculation as an estimate.

Worked example based on the published sample

Input Value
Principal ₱10,000
Term 91 days (3 months)
Interest rate (APR) 12%
Service fee 10%
Step Calculation Result
Interest ₱10,000 × 12% ÷ 365 × 91 about ₱299.17
Service fee ₱10,000 × 10% ₱1,000
Total repayment ₱10,000 + ₱299.17 + ₱1,000 ₱11,299.17
Monthly installment ₱11,299.17 ÷ 3 about ₱3,766.39

The extra cost on top of the amount you borrow is ₱1,299.17. Most of that comes from the service fee rather than the interest, which is a key point to remember when comparing offers. For more on how the pieces fit together, see Cashify's interest rate, APR and service fee.

Table of example amounts

The figures below keep the same sample rates (12% interest, 10% service fee) and a 91-day term to show how the cost grows with the loan amount. They are illustrations only, not offers.

Principal Interest (12%, 91 days) Service fee (10%) Total repayment Per month (3)
₱1,000 ₱29.92 ₱100 ₱1,129.92 ₱376.64
₱5,000 ₱149.59 ₱500 ₱5,649.59 ₱1,883.20
₱10,000 ₱299.18 ₱1,000 ₱11,299.18 ₱3,766.39
₱20,000 ₱598.36 ₱2,000 ₱22,598.36 ₱7,532.79
₱50,000 ₱1,495.89 ₱5,000 ₱56,495.89 ₱18,831.96

Small rounding differences from the lender's own figure (₱299.17) are normal.

Try your own numbers with a general tool

You can test different amounts, rates and periods with the general calculator tool on our homepage. It is a simple calculator for online loans in general and does not show Cashify's own rates, so use it to understand how interest and fees add up, then check the real figures in the app. You will find it on our Cashify Philippines page.

A short checklist when you calculate

  1. Write down the principal you will receive.
  2. List every fee in pesos.
  3. Calculate the interest for the exact number of days.
  4. Add everything to get the total repayment.
  5. Divide by the number of installments.
  6. Compare with your monthly budget.

If the total looks too high for your budget, borrow less or choose another option. Our guide on how to compare online loan costs shows how to make the same comparison for several lenders. If you plan to pay late, also read about Cashify payment penalty.

Why the number of days matters

Interest in the sample is calculated by the day. That means a loan of 91 days pays about half the interest of a loan of 182 days at the same rate, because interest is spread over twice as long a period. At 12% a year on ₱10,000, one day of interest is about ₱3.29, so a 91-day term gives about ₱299 and a 180-day term gives about ₱592. The service fee does not change with the term in the sample, so a longer loan lowers the monthly installment but raises the total cost. If your goal is to pay as little as possible overall, choose the shortest term that your budget allows.

Example with a longer term

Using the same sample rates, a ₱10,000 loan over 180 days would cost about ₱592.05 in interest and ₱1,000 in service fee, for a total of about ₱11,592.05. Divided over six monthly installments, that is about ₱1,932 a month. Compare that with ₱3,766 a month for 91 days: the monthly payment is easier, but the total is about ₱293 higher. This is an illustration based on the sample, not a Cashify offer.

Using the estimate to plan your budget

After you calculate the total repayment, compare it with your monthly income and fixed expenses. A simple test is to ask whether you could pay each installment without borrowing again. If the answer is no, reduce the amount or choose another way to cover the need. Estimating before you apply takes five minutes and can prevent a loan from turning into a long-term problem.
